Perhaps the first seating-related detail that you’ll notice upon entering The Diamond is the upper deck of seats. Like many stadiums that opened in the 1980s, The Diamond has a large upper deck — a feature that you seldom see at new minor league parks. The presence of this area helps to give fans affordable seating options, while also offering a unique, elevated view of the field.

Seating at The Diamond is divided into three sections. The Field Level seats are the seats around the lower part of the seating bowl, and run from halfway down the right field line to halfway down the left field line. They’re a good choice for fans who want to feel close to the action; even though The Diamond feels large, sitting in a Field Level seat still offers the intimate feel that many fans enjoy about the minor leagues. As of 2024, tickets in this section cost $15 in advance and $19 on game days.

The seats in the upper deck at The Diamond are divided into two price tiers. Seats in the lower third of the upper deck belong to the Terrace Level. They stand out because they’re standard folding stadium seats, whereas the other seats in the upper deck are bleachers. Terrace Level seats cost $13 in advance and $15 on game days.

The most affordable seating option in the stadium is the General Admission section, which comprises the upper two-thirds of the upper deck. These are bleacher seats and cost $10 in advance or $12 on game days. Tarps cover the top rows of the upper deck, but sitting high in the General Admission section will still give you an elevated position that you seldom find elsewhere in the minor leagues. From this position, you’ll not only enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the game, but you can also take in the Richmond skyline in the distance.
