Finding Your Way Around Eastwood Field

Eastwood Field is set at the end of a paved parking lot so vast you’ll feel as though you’re walking across an airport tarmac. Once you pass over all that asphalt, however, you’ll pass under the Eastwood Field sign and climb a short flight of steps into the stadium’s main gate. If you’re a season’s ticket holder, you’re considered a VIP and can use the red-carpeted VIP entrance just to the left of the main gate. If you still need to buy tickets, Eastwood Field’s ticket office is just to the right of the main gate.

Once you pass through the stadium gate into the covered concourse, you’ve got three choices. Walking straight ahead will take you out to the open-air concourse behind home plate. If you walk left or right, you follow the covered concourse toward either foul pole. Concession stands are located in both directions and the Scrappers team store is to your left.

The home team’s dugout is on the first base side, closest to the adjoined clubhouses in the right field corner. Bullpens are found behind the left and right field fences. While all Minor League Baseball stadiums have the day’s starting lineups posted somewhere in the concourse, and many stadiums have updated league standings, Eastwood Field is a cut above for the fan who loves statistics. The team updates a display board in the first base concourse prior to each game, giving fans updates and notes about the game and batting and pitching league leaders, as well as starting lineups and NYPL standings.
