Widely known as a must-visit destination in the major leagues, San Diego’s Petco Park is situated in the city’s downtown with plenty of parking options around it. If you want to be as close to the ballpark as possible, plan to use one of the Preferred lots for $40. Other close options, including the Bayfront Hilton Garage and the Convention Center Garage will cost you $35. You can find lots of parking lots in the $20 range, but you’ll need to be comfortable with walking several blocks between your vehicle and the ballpark.
If you wish to travel to and from Petco Park on public transit, you can use the city’s Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) Trolley. There are three stations that are situated within two blocks of the ballpark: 12th and Imperial, Park and Market, and Gaslamp Quarter.
