Southwest University Park has fixed seats for 7,500 fans, plus enough space on the grass berm in the outfield and in various standing room spots that the park can accommodate about 9,500 people for large events. This means that you’ve got plenty of options about not only where to sit, but also where to hang out during the game if you’re the type of fan who enjoys walking around and seeing the action from different vantage points.

For families, there’s no better seating option than the Lawn Seating section in the outfield. In addition to being affordable and spacious, it’s also immediately adjacent to Chico’s Playground, the ballpark’s children’s play area. It’s one of the more impressive play areas in the minor leagues, thanks to its sizable splash pad.

The four-level Big Dog House in right field has multiple seating options, including chairs, stools and couches. The seats behind home plate and on the first base side provide views of the Franklin Mountains beyond left field. If you’re looking to stay out of the sun during an afternoon game, consider a seat in the upper rows of the 100 Level sections. They’re partially shaded by the 200 Level above. The team has standing room only spots along the railings on the 100 and 200 Levels if you’re looking for an affordable option and don’t mind being on your feet.
