Located a little more than an hour’s drive east of Cleveland, the Scrappers have been affiliated with the Indians since joining the New York-Penn League in 1999. They took a spot vacated by the Erie SeaWolves, who moved up to the AA Eastern League.
The Scrappers started out their existence with a bang, winning division titles in their first two years, and earning a league title in 2004. In 12 seasons, the Scrappers have won four total division crowns, and have finished as divisional runners-up four other times. The Scrappers have played at Eastwood Field since their inception.
