Truist Park in Atlanta is the second-newest ballpark in the big leagues, behind only Globe Life Field in Arlington. In its relatively short life, however, the home of the Braves has played host to many long, memorable home runs.

In this list, we’re counting down the 10 longest home runs at Truist Park as of June 17, 2023, per Statcast. It’s important to note that these home runs are only from 2017 onward, when the Atlanta ballpark opened. This list features six combined entries from a pair of Braves sluggers, the longest career home run for another player and a Bryce Harper appearance. Videos appear courtesy of MLB.

Here’s a look at the 10 longest home runs at Truist Park in Atlanta.

10. Marcell Ozuna — 468 feet

Atlanta’s Marcell Ozuna makes his first appearance on this list thanks to a memorable shot on September 27, 2020. Facing off against Boston’s Nick Pivetta in front of an empty Truist Park due to the pandemic, Ozuna timed a changeup perfectly and pounded the baseball 468 feet with an exit velocity of 110.2 mph. The baseball landed about three-fourths of the way up the seats in left-center field.

9. Marcell Ozuna — 469 feet

About a month before his 468-foot blast, Marcell Ozuna had a 469-foot home run against New York’s Gerrit Cole. In the third inning of an August 26, 2020 game in an empty ballpark, Ozuna squared up an offering from Cole, connecting with an exit velocity of 109.4 mph and drilling the ball deep into the seats in center field.

7 (t). Bryce Harper — 470 feet

In addition to being one of the longest home runs at Truist Park, the 470-foot blast that Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper hit on August 22, 2020 is one of the longest of Harper’s career. Harper jumped all over the first pitch he saw from Robbie Erlin, connecting with an exit velocity of 109.6 mph. The ball landed in the upper third of the seats in right-center field, a spot that most hitters simply cannot reach. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Harper has one of the longest home runs at Citizens Bank Park — but it’s not quite as long as the one he hit at Truist Park.

7 (t). Ronald Acuña Jr. — 470 feet

Ronald Acuña Jr.’s first appearance on this list is his most recent — a towering, 470-foot shot hit on May 10, 2023 against Boston’s Brayan Bello. Acuña turned around a slider at 113.9 mph, sending the baseball 470 feet off the video board in left-center field. The home run was the young slugger’s seventh of the season.

6. Austin Riley — 471 feet

Austin Riley will likely remember the home run he hit on September 4, 2020 for a long time — not necessarily because it’s the fifth-longest home run at Truist Park, but because it’s the longest HR of the third baseman’s career. He cracked a slider from Wil Crowe with an exit velocity of 107.2 mph, sending the baseball 471 feet deep into the empty seats in left-center field.

5. Ronald Acuña Jr. — 473 feet

If you’re surprised that you’ve only seen Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. once on this list so far, here’s a spoiler: The list is going to get pretty Acuña heavy from here on out. Hitting in front of a backdrop of cardboard cutout fans during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, Acuña connected squarely with a fastball from New York’s Gerrit Cole on August 26. The blast, which had an exit velocity of 114 mph, landed about three-fourths of the way up the seats in left-center field.

4. Travis d’Arnaud — 474 feet

The longest home run of catcher Travis d’Arnaud’s career to date came at Truist Park on June 16, 2023, against Colorado. d’Arnaud hammered a high fastball from Dinelson Lamet 474 feet deep to left-center field, drawing a collective “Whoa” sound from the Braves faithful. The baseball left d’Arnaud’s bat at 109.6 mph and landed high in the field-level seats. It was his third home run of 2023 and the longest of his career to date.

3. Marcell Ozuna — 479 feet

Marcell Ozuna’s third entry on this list is thanks to a towering shot hit on April 29, 2021 against Chicago’s Adbert Alzolay. The baseball, which left Ozuna’s bat at 114.3 mph — tops on this list — traveled 479 feet and landed deep in left field. It was Ozuna’s third long ball of the season, and is currently the longest home run of his career.

2. Ronald Acuña Jr. — 481 feet

The home run that Ronald Acuña Jr. hit against Chicago’s Trevor Williams on April 27, 2021 is notable for a lot of reasons. It was Acuña’s longest home run of the season and the fourth-longest home run hit in the big leagues that year. The third baseman turned around an outside fastball with an exit velocity of 111.9 mph, pummeling the baseball 481 feet deep into the seats in left-center field for his eighth home run of the season. (Acuña also has top-10 home runs at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and Petco Park in San Diego.)

1. Ronald Acuña Jr. — 495 feet

Ronald Acuña Jr. hit 14 home runs during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, and none was more impressive than the final one he hit. Coming in the first inning of a game on September 25 against Boston’s Chris Mazza, the home run had an exit velocity of 112.9 mph and traveled a whopping 495 feet to nearly the top of the seats in left-center field. To date, it’s the longest home run at Truist Park in the Statcast era.
