It’s impossible to make a list of the most exciting players in baseball without including Ronald Acuña Jr.

A threat at the plate and on the base paths, Acuña Jr. is the first player in MLB history to hit at least 30 home runs and steal at least 60 bases in a season — doing so in 2023. He’s a perennial All-Star, a multi-time Silver Slugger Award winner and, in all likelihood, will earn his first National League MVP following the 2023 season.

In this list, we’re counting down the longest home runs of Acuña Jr.’s career, according to Statcast. (All videos appear courtesy of MLB.)

Here are the 10 longest home runs of Ronald Acuña Jr.’s career to date.

10. 456 feet: April 9, 2021, at Truist Park

Acuña Jr.’s first entry on this list came early in the 2021 season and ended up being his third-longest home run of the campaign. The home run, which was Acuña Jr.’s third of a 24-home run season, had an exit velocity of 114.1 mph.

9. 460 feet: June 8, 2021, at Citizens Bank Park

Acuña Jr. is the proud owner of several long home runs hit at Truist Park, but he’s shown some pop in the City of Brotherly Love, too. In the third inning of a game on June 8, 2021, Acuña Jr. connected on an Aaron Nola fastball with an exit velocity of 116 mph. The ball landed 460 feet from home plate in the second-last row of the second deck in left field — an area that baseballs rarely visit at CBP. The blast was his 18th of the season.

8. 463 feet: August 2, 2019, at Truist Park

The 463-foot shot that Acuña Jr. hit on August 2, 2019, was his second-longest home run of the season — and just three feet shy of being his longest. The home run was Acuña Jr.’s 26th of the 41 he hit in 2019.

6 (t). 464 feet: June 7, 2022, at Truist Park

The home run left Acuña Jr.’s bat at 113.8 mph and was his fifth of the season.

6 (t). 464 feet: June 3, 2023, at Chase Field

The 2023 MLB season will be one that Acuña Jr. remembers for a long time, thanks to his impressive, record-setting output. The baseball sailed to the concourse behind the left-center field feet after leaving his bat at 112.6 mph.

5. 466 feet: May 10, 2019, at Chase Field

Of the 41 home runs that Acuña Jr. hit in 2019, none traveled farther than his eighth of the season — a mammoth blast at Chase Field that came off Yoan Lopez.
