If you’re looking to save a little money when you park, you’ll need to be comfortable with walking. There are several different lots within 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the ballpark, and their rates are more in the $20 to $25 range.
There are some easy public transportation options to consider, too. You can take the 7 Train to the Mets-Willets Point Station, which is adjacent to the plaza in front of Citi Field. You’ll be able to see the famous Home Run Apple as soon as you get off the train. Similarly, you can take the Long Island Railroad to the Mets-Willets Point Station, which is situated just a few minutes’ walk from the stadium.
