Downtown ballparks can often be a hassle to reach by car, but it’s clear sailing to get to Huntington Park for a Clippers game. Despite the park’s downtown location, it’s just a couple minutes off I-670. Huntington Park’s location means you’ve got a wide range of parking options to consider. Official lots charge between $3 and $5 for parking, and the price ranges depending on how close you want to be. The closer you are, the more you’ll pay.

The park’s closest parking option is known as the LC Lot, and is found across the street from the home plate entrance, at the corner of Brodbelt Lane and Hanover Street. Just slightly farther away is the Fletcher Lot, found at the corner of Hanover Street and Spring Street. If you’re content with walking a couple blocks and want cheap parking, travel east on West Nationwide Boulevard past the ballpark. Pass Hanover Street and Fletcher Street and turn right between the two railway bridges up a lane to a well-signed lot. This lot is arguably the most popular among fans visiting the ballpark. If you favor covered garage parking, consider the McConnell Garage on John McConnell Boulevard just north of West Nationwide Boulevard. This lot is directly across the street from Nationwide Arena, home of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets. Click here to get a map of all Huntington Park’s parking optjons.

If you’re visiting Huntington Park from out of town, your best bet for accommodations is the Hilton Columbus Downtown. This upscale hotel will instantly add excitement to your visit to Columbus and has a location equally convenient for getting to Huntington Park and checking out the city’s downtown dining options. The Hilton Columbus Downtown is less than a mile from the ballpark – easy walking distance if you’d rather save on pre-game parking. The hotel’s close proximity to Nationwide Arena means there are a ton of restaurants, bars and even a brewery all within walking distance. Leave your car at the Hilton and grab a pre-game beer at one of the numerous patios or hit the Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse just a couple blocks north of the hotel before taking a stroll over to Huntington Park for some International League action.
