When you enter Joseph L. Bruno Stadium through the main gate directly behind home plate, the team’s store, SouthPaw’s Den, is on your immediate left. There’s access to the store from the outside an hour-and-a-half before first pitch. Also to your left, in the lobby outside the team store, is the Troy Baseball Legends wall, a modest display of paintings of four prominent members of the area’s baseball history.

The ballpark’s open concourse runs to each foul pole, with concession stands located in various spots along each side. Three picnic areas (The Porch, the Picnic Pavilion and grass berm) are on the first base side toward the corner. The Top of the Hill Bar & Grill is behind the ValleyCats bullpen just over the left field fence. From this area, elevated above the field, you have an excellent vantage point of the field of play and bullpen.

The stadium’s impressive scoreboard is directly past the left field fence, next to the home team’s clubhouse. The scoreboard features a large video display and is one of the best in the New York-Penn League.
