Like many parks across Minor League Baseball, Peoples Natural Gas Field raises each of its tickets slightly on gameday. So, if you plan to take in a game in Altoona and are preparing a road trip ahead of time, it’s smart to buy your tickets in advance and just pick them up at the will call window when you arrive.

The most expensive ticket at Peoples Natural Gas Field is also one of the most unique seats you’ll find in the Minors, and it’ll give you a truly memorable experience. The Rail Kings section is a small area along the edge of the party deck in left field, and offers fold-down seats right along the fence. As an added bonus, there are TVs mounted along the fence that are tuned into the Pittsburgh Pirates’ game, when applicable, so you can keep an eye on Altoona’s parent club. You might expect to pay a premium for such cool seating, but tickets here are $12 or $13 on gameday.

The Diamond Club section is a fancy name for what most parks call the Box Seating or 100 Level. This section is right at field level and runs from the edge of the grass in left field to the edge of the grass in right. The seats in this section are box seats and a ticket here runs you $10 in advance or $11 on gameday.

If you don’t like sitting in the middle of a giant section, the Terrace section is the logical choice for you. These seats are at what MLB parks call the 200 Level, but each section is only four or five rows deep, so there’s an intimate feel in this area. Terrace seats are also box seats and tickets cost $8 or $9.

The Grandstand section offers general admission value with the benefits of stadium seats. These seats, at the park’s 300 Level, are $6 or $7 and provide a bird’s eye view of the action.

If you don’t want to spend much on your ticket, you’ve got two choices – the UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction section or the Ollie’s Cheap Seats section. The former is a set of four bleachers in left field, which is a perfect spot to sit if you hope to catch a home run. The latter is a general admission section down the first base line. Tickets in both these seating sections cost $5 in advance or $6 on gameday.

Finally, any fan can take advantage of the hillside seating directly behind the bleachers in left field. Tickets are not sold specifically for the hillside seating. Spending an inning or two in this area is a great idea, especially if you’re visiting the ballpark with children.
